Ezhou, Jiangdao-Class Corvette, Joins E, China Sea Fleet

The Chinese navy has commissioned a new Jiangdao-class (Type 056) corvette into service, reports China Military Online.
The Ezhou (513) entered service on Jan. 18 with the East China Sea Fleet during a ceremony in China’s eastern Fujian province.
Ships of the class are 292 feet (89 m) long, (11.14 m) in beam and have a full load displacement of 1,254 tons. The Ezhou is the 31st of the class, noted IHS Jane's Defence Weekly.
