Extremist Group Says It Was Responsible For Parcel Bombs

A Greek anarchist group has claimed responsibility for sending more than a dozen parcel bombs earlier this month that caused widespread alarm and one injury, the New York Times reports.

The Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire sent a letter on Tuesday to the news network Indymedia, saying it sent the packages to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and the Belgian and Mexican embassies in Athens.
