Explosives Technology Aimed At Urban Combat

The Israeli military is supplying its infantry battalions with new explosives technology designed for urban operations, reports the Jerusalem Post.
The new systems, a frame charge and a pocket-sized detonator, will be distributed throughout the army in the next several months, said military officials.
The frame charge has 2-foot (60-cm) plastic poles filled with plastic explosives that can connect to each other into a desired shape. The frame is supported by two legs.
