Explosives Found Near Nuclear Plant

After an apparent explosive device was found planted on a truck at a Swedish nuclear power plant, nuclear facilities nationwide have been placed on alert as a precaution, reports UPI.

The device was found Wednesday afternoon on a truck returning to the reactor area at the Ringhals plant, a spokeswoman said. The alert level was raised Thursday.

The fist-sized explosive was planted in an area where a fire extinguisher goes, said the spokeswoman.
