Explosive Device Attached To Auto Kills News Anchor In Mogadishu

A journalist working for a television station in Somalia has been killed after a bomb attached to his car exploded, says a colleague, as reported by the East African.

Mohamed Ibrahim Gabow was driving in Mogadishu's Wadajir district on Monday night when his car exploded, badly injuring him, according to witnesses and security sources cited by the Voice of America News. He died soon afterward.

Gabow was a news anchor for Kalsan TV, a satellite channel popular across Somalia....
