More than a dozen people have been killed in separate explosions in Syria, reports the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
On Wednesday, a car exploded in the capital, Damascus, killing one civilian and injuring five other people.
The cause of the blast was not immediately known. Damascus has largely been spared from much of the worst of the war but car bombs have targeted security and government sites in the past.
