At least two people were injured in a chemical explosion on Wednesday morning at Redstone Arsenal, Ala., reports the Huntsville (Ala.) Times.
Both victims had significant burn injuries, officials said.
The explosion took place at an Aviation Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) facility in Test Area 10, according to an Arsenal spokeswoman.
Early reports indicated the explosion occurred when workers were extracting a propellant from rockets.
