Explosion Injures Provincial Governor In Mardin

A bomb blast in Turkey's southeastern Mardin province has injured three people, including the governor, reports Reuters.
Thursday's blast rocked the governor's office in the city of Mardin, the provincial capital.
Gov. Muhammed Fatih Safiturk was said to have suffered second-degree burns. He was appointed in July as part of Ankara's effort to replace officials from the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), which is linked to the pro-Kurdish Democratic Party (HDP).
