A suicide bomb has exploded in a busy Kabul supermarket frequented by foreigners, the Los Angeles Times reports.
At least eight people were killed and a dozen wounded in the Friday attack, Afghan police said.
The store is located in a neighborhood that is home to a number of Western embassies and other international organizations.
Police called the attack the most serious in Kabul in months.
The Taliban claimed responsibility, reported Agence France-Presse.
