European Court Backs Extradition Of Terror Suspects To U.S.

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that five terror suspects can be extradited from the U.K. to the United States, reports CNN.

Arrested in the U.K. between 1999 and 2006, the suspects tried to block their extradition, saying they would be poorly treated.

The court, based in Strasbourg, France, ruled on Tuesday that the suspects would be treated fairly in super-maximum security prisons if convicted in American courts.
