South Korea and the European Union have pledged to deepen defense ties following a meeting in Seoul, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
On Wednesday, Defense Minister Suh Wook hosted Gen. Claudio Graziano, the chairman of the E.U. Military Committee, which consists of the military chiefs of the 27 member states.
Graziano expressed support for South Korean peace efforts with North Korea and agreed to share information regarding the bloc's Indo-Pacific strategy.
