Ethnic Violence Displaces 255,000 In West, Says U.N.

The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) says that a quarter-million people have been displaced by a recent wave of ethnic violence in western Ethiopia, reports the Herald (Zimbabwe).
Violence along the borders of the Oromia and Benishangul Gumuz states has displaced around 255,000 people since September, said a UNOCHA release on Dec. 26.
