The Turkish and Iraqi governments have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fight against common terror threats, reports the Daily Sabah (Istanbul).
On Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted his Iraqi counterpart, Barham Salih, in Ankara.
Erdogan said that both countries face common threats, including the Islamic State, Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Gulenist Islamic movement, which Turkey declared a terrorist organization in 2016.
