The U.S. Army is transferring some high-altitude helicopter training to Colorado after the state government in Hawaii called for an additional environmental review, reports the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
The regulatory process in Hawaii has already delayed training by four months, creating a tight deadline for Wheeler Army Airfield pilots preparing for a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan in January.
