Enrollments Frozen At Defense Colleges

The Defense Ministry has decided to halt additional enrollment in Russia's higher education facilities until 2012, reports Interfax-AVN.
The freeze was driven by the current defense reform, which is reducing the officer corps to 150,000 personnel and cutting the number of educational institutions, according to a ministry source.
