Senior Chinese and Afghan officials have agreed to strengthen security cooperation between their nations, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Meng Jianzhu, China's top security official, hosted Afghan Interior Minister Olomi Noorol Haq, on Tuesday in Beijing.
Meng pledged more cooperation against terrorism and drug-smuggling.
He also called on both countries to expand other areas for cooperation and continue to advance the bilateral strategic partnership.
