Enemy Attack Halted By Airstrike In Helmand

A coalition patrol was forced to call an airstrike in Afghanistan's Helmand province when it came under fire by insurgents, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) reports.
The resultant strike late last week killed one insurgent and scattered the rest in the Nad'Ali district, said military officials.
An Afghan civilian in the area told coalition forces the insurgents had shot and killed his daughter.
