End Of Road For 3 Army Long-Range Surveillance Units

The U.S. Army is about to deactivate its three active-duty long-range surveillance companies, reports the Stars and Stripes.

The nearly 100 soldiers in each of the units attached to corps commands at Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., will be reassigned to other units at the those posts, said an Army spokeswoman.
