With Emergency On Home Front, Chadians Have Not Yet Deployed To Joint Regional Force

The head of the Nigerian military says Chad has not yet deployed its promised troops for a multinational unit fighting the Boko Haram terrorist group, reports the Daily Trust (Abuja).

Five countries are participating in the Multinational Joint Task Force. Only Chad was yet to send forces, said Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin last Thursday.

He made his comments in Abuja, Nigeria, while talking with a senior officer from Niger.
