Emergency Decree In Muslim South Extended Once Again

The Cabinet in Thailand has authorized the extension of martial law in the Muslim-majority southern provinces for another three months, reports the Thai News Agency.
The emergency will be extended from June 20 to Sept. 19.
The National Security Council said the move was needed to facilitate operations against insurgents, said a government spokesman on Tuesday.
