Emergency Declared In South; Razor Wire Placed On Border

The Hungarian government has declared a state of emergency in two southern counties along the border with Serbia over the migrant crisis, reports the BBC.
The decision was made Tuesday at a Cabinet meeting, said a government spokesman.
The declaration give police additional powers and would allow troop deployments pending Parliament's approval.
A record 5,809 migrants entered Hungary in a new surge on Sunday, reported the New York Daily News.
