ELN Commander Killed In Raid In Choco Department

Colombian President Ivan Duque says government troops have killed a mid-level commander of the National Liberation Army (ELN) during operations in the western Choco department, reports Colombia Reports.

Uriel, a mid-level commander of the ELN’s Western War Front, was killed during a special operation codenamed Odin, Duque said on Sunday.

He was killed in an operation in Novita, a jungle municipality in the south of the Choco department, reported El Espectador (Bogota).
