Electrical Fire Damages Patrol Boat

A fire broke out Wednesday on a Philippine navy patrol boat docked at a naval facility in Zamboanga City, reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The fire aboard the Nicolas Mahusay was caused by faulty electrical wiring, said Rear Adm. Alexander Pama, the head of Naval Forces Western Mindanao.
The ship was receiving power from shore when a short circuit occurred, said officials. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries resulted.
