A Coast Guard cutter in North Carolina has had to postpone its departure for a patrol due to an electrical fire, reports the Coast Guard.
Early Thursday, the Diligence, based in Wilmington, N.C., had an electrical fire in one of its generators during departure preparations.
The cutter had already been forced to return three weeks early during its last patrol due to issues with another generator, according to a service release.
