As many as 800 Egyptian soldier are now in Yemen as part of the Saudi-led coalition against the Houthi rebels, reported the Daily Star (Lebanon).
Four units of 150-200 troops, accompanied by tanks and transport vehicles, arrived late Tuesday, said Egyptian security sources.
These are the first Egyptian ground troops in Yemen.
