Eghtedar 97 Drills Evaluate Structural Changes To Army

The Iranian army has been holding a large-scale exercise in the central Isfahan province, reports the Tehran Times.

The two-day Eghtedar 97 exercise that began on Friday was designed to evaluate recent structural changes in the army, including mobility and airborne logistics support.

About 12,000 troops, armored vehicles, fighter jets and drones took part in the drills, reported Reuters.
