Effort To Buy S. Korean Jets Stalls Over British Arms Embargo

Argentina's attempt to purchase light fighter jets from South Korea have been halted by the British arms embargo, reports Mercopress (Uruguay).

On Oct. 28, Korea Aerospace Industries informed the Argentinean ambassador in Seoul that it cannot export its FA-50 light fighter aircraft to Argentina due to the British arms embargo.

KAI indicated that it was making a reasonable effort to resolve the issue, but that it had not yet found a solution.
