The governments of Kenya and Uganda have ordered security increased following the terrorist attacks in Paris, reports the BBC.
"Whilst we the police have stepped up vigilance, we call on the public to exercise maximum level of alertness," said a Kenyan police chief on Saturday, as cited by Bloomberg News.
Meanwhile, police and security forces began joint patrols across Uganda, said police on Sunday.
