E-4B Command Aircraft Replacement Program Moves Forward

The U.S. Air Force has launched a program to replace its fleet of E-4B National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) planes, reports Aviation Week & Space Technology.

On Dec. 4, the service announced that it would hold an industry day in February to go over its acquisition strategy for the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) weapon system.
