Dutch Shipbuilder To Build 1,900-Ton OPV In Karachi

The Pakistani government has signed a contract with Dutch shipbuilder Damen for the local construction of a multipurpose offshore patrol vessel (OPV), reports the Associated Press of Pakistan.
The deal was signed on Monday at Pakistan's Ministry of Defense Production by officials from the Pakistani navy, Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KSEW) and Damen, said a release from the ministry.
