During Test, Army Fires 155-mm Guided Artillery Rounds, Hits Tank Targets

The Finnish army has fired its latest guided artillery rounds for the first time in a domestic exercise, reports the service.
The army ordered the Bonus Mk II rounds in 2014. The munitions were fired last week at a range in Rovajarvi, said an army release on Thursday.
The Bonus Mk II is a 155-mm munition that is designed to seek out armored targets. The round features two top-attack, sensor-fuzed munitions, which are infrared-guided, according to the service.
