The new commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force begun his duties, reports the Canadian Press.

A change-of-command ceremony was held Thursday to swear in Lt. Gen. Michael Hood at the Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa.

Hood succeeds Lt. Gen. Yvan Blondinm.
