During Readiness Exercise, Strykers Operate Above Arctic Circle

U.S. Army Stryker vehicles have been sent north of the Arctic Circle for the first time, reports the Dept. of Defense.

The vehicles operated on Nov. 3-4 as part of Operation Arctic Pegasus, a joint exercise held in Alaska.

The maneuvers were aimed at testing the rapid deployment capability of Alaska's 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team.
