One of India's imported M777 155-mm lightweight howitzers has been damaged in a firing accident, says an army source cited by the Economic Times (India).
The U.S.-made howitzer was undergoing live-fire drills at the Pokhran range on Sept. 2 when ammunition made in India "exited the barrel in multiple places," said the source on Wednesday.
