Drone Strikes Kill 3 Militants In Nangarhar Province

At least three reported Islamic State militants have been killed in U.S. drone strikes in eastern Afghanistan, say security sources cited by Dawn (Pakistan).

Thursday's airstrikes targeted a militant compound in Nazyan distric of Nangarhar province, near Pakistan's Khyber Agency, said the sources.

Five other militants were reported injured. The compound was said to be completely destroyed.

A similar airstrike on Oct. 23 in that area killed at least 16 suspected ISIS...
