Pakistani intelligence officials say a suspected U.S. drone strike on Wednesday in the northwestern tribal area killed at least seven militants, as reported by the Press Trust of India.
The strike took place in the Lawar Mandi area of North Waziristan, close to the Afghan border, the officials said on Thursday.
Two houses believed to be used by the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) were hit, they said.
