A U.S. military probe has blamed a drone crew and ground commanders for 23 civilian deaths in a February operation in Afghanistan's Oruzgan province, the Los Angeles Times reports.
A Predator crew based in Las Vegas misidentified a convoy of three vehicles carrying 30 civilians as insurgents rushing to attack U.S. and Afghan ground forces, says the report.
