Drills To Simulate N. Korean Island Invasion

The South Korean navy and marine corps will conduct a two-day exercise this weekend near the maritime border in the Yellow Sea, says the Defense Ministry, as cited by the Arirang News (South Korea).

The training, to start Friday, will include for the first time South Korea's five westernmost islands, including Baengnyeong and Yeonpyeong, the site of a recent North Korean artillery attack.
