The Pentagon's plans to reduce for U.S. force levels in Afghanistan will not affect special operations strike units, reports Military.com.
An unnamed Defense Dept. official with knowledge of the plans said the small contingent of special operations teams, including Army Rangers, Delta Force and Seal Team 6, will remain to carry out raids on Taliban and ISIS fighters.
