Officials from the United States and Afghanistan have agreed to a draft strategic partnership agreement that promises a decade of American support after the withdrawal of NATO combat troops in 2014, the New York Times reports.
The draft agreement, whose text was not released, was completed on Sunday. It is expected to be signed before a NATO conference in Chicago in May.
