Syria—Dozens Killed In Suspected Israeli Strikes In East

At least 40 people have been killed in intense airstrikes in eastern Syria, reports the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (U.K.). Early Wednesday, at least nine Syrian soldiers and 31 Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen were killed in suspected Israeli air attacks between the city of Deir Ezzor and the border with Iraq in the Al Bokamal desert. At least 10 strikes targeted Ayyash warehouses, Sa'ka Camp, the 137th Brigade, the mountain overlooking Deir Ezzor city and other positions...
