Dozens Killed In Ethnic Violence In Mopti Region

At least 33 civilians have been killed in central Mali in growing violence between rival ethnic groups, reports Agence France-Presse.
On Tuesday, people wearing the traditional clothing of the Dogon community attacked a Fulani village in the Mopti region, two sources told the agency.
The government later increased the death toll to 37 civilians.
The attackers set several homes on fire. The village chief in Koulogon was targeted and killed, as was his family, said one witness.
