A dozen NATO soldiers, including seven Americans, were killed Monday and Tuesday in Afghanistan, making it the deadliest 24 hours this year for the military alliance, Agence France-Presse reports.
Six Americans died in improvised explosive device (IED) blasts, while the seventh was killed by small-arms fire, according to the U.S. military.
