The Canadian government is reportedly considering a request from the U.S. to keep its special operations forces in Afghanistan after NATO's planned 2014 withdrawal date, reports the Canadian Press.
Were the personnel to remain, they would likely help train Afghan commandos and conduct operations against Al-Qaida and Taliban militants.
