Turkey just made public its first domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the Anatolia News Agency reports.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) said it will sell the TIHA medium-altitude long-endurance drone to the Turkish military in 2011.
The surveillance UAV, with a service ceiling of 30,000 feet, can fly for 24 hours, company officials said.
TAI officials also indicated they hope to sell the aircraft on the global market.
