A new Pentagon review recommends better compensation for enlisted troops who perform the most dangerous missions on combat deployments, reports the Army Times.
The current system allots a larger share of financial benefits to more senior officers who are frequently located in areas with fewer risks, according to the Quadrennial Review of Military Compensation.
The report calls for two major changes, which would provide more money to troops in combat zones.
