DoD Names New Chief For U.S. Naval Forces In S. Korea

The Pentagon has chosen a new commander for its naval forces in South Korea, reports the Stars and Stripes.
Capt. Michael Boyle, who was selected for promotion to rear admiral in October, will assume command of Navy Region Korea, Naval Forces Korea and the naval component of the United Nations Command, according to a Defense Dept. statement last week.
