DoD Eyes Post-Election $6 Billion Boost For Operations

The Dept. of Defense will soon ask for billions of additional dollars for fiscal 2017 to cover operational costs, reports Bloomberg News.
The $6 billion sought would go for troop increases in Iraq, a slower troop drawdown in Afghanistan and intensified air operations, according to Pentagon Comptroller Mike McCord.
