Ukraine says it has begun disposing of some old Scud missiles with the assistance of the United States, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The 9K72 Scuds were decommissioned in 1997 and have since been stored at the 48th Arsenal in the Vinnytsya region, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
