The Thai government has decided to restore diplomatic relations with Cambodia and send an ambassador to Phnom Penh, reports the Bangkok Post.
The move came after the Cambodian government announced that former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra had resigned as an economic adviser.
Cambodia also planned to reinstate its ambassador in Bangkok, according to local media.
